Derby Friends Church

A launch team is now in place doing initial planning for the Cityscape Worship Experience.  The purpose of this worship alternative will be to provide "church for the unchurched" at Derby Friends.  As part of our planning process we are visiting other churches which are "doing church" a different way to better connect with those who have little or no church background.  During the past few months approximately 20 people from Derby Friends have visited Lifechurch.tv campuses in Tulsa, Oklahoma City and Tulsa.  One possibility for this new worship venue is to become part of the Lifechurch network.  We will also be visiting a couple of other churches in Wichita that have a similar vision to ours.  If you are interested in knowing more about this new worship experience, please contact the church office, or e-mail our lead pastor thayne@derbyfriendschurch.com.
